FICKSBURG – Ten people accused of murder after a 2009 farm attack in the Free State were acquitted by the Ficksburg Regional Court on Wednesday.

BLOEMFONTEIN – Three men were arrested on Wednesday after a resident of Kagisanong in Bloemfontein was stabbed and robbed, Free State police said.

FICKSBURG – The Ficksburg water supply plant has won Blue Drop status, but no one from the municipality was in Bloemfontein to accept the honour on Tuesday.
