BLOEMFONTEIN- Local afro pop groups khaya and Ala-Yen will share the stage with double platinum jazz diva Zahara at this year’s annual Botshabelo Easter Festival at the local stadium on Saturday, April 7.

BLOEMFONTEIN – Award winning gospel singer Solly Mahlangu will breeze into town on Saturday, March 24 to wow his legion of fans in what has been dubbed the Pre-Easter Festival.

Last year they brought the likes of KhuliChana, Professor, Character, DjVetkoek&Mahoota and changed the face of local entertainment. They have promised bigger acts this year; withDjOskido, DjSbu and the new man on the block, Dr Malinga aka “The Ballerina” being some of the highlight acts.

Step Up or Step Out: It’s a simple command from some of the best choreographers and dance musician in the country. Judges of the dance show, which started auditions for the second season on March 2 in Johannesburg, will descend on the Bloemfontein Showgrounds on March 10-11.

Preparations for the long-awaited third annual Oscar Nite are well under way, with dynamic duo Divine Dj and Zino the Neckbreaker pulling out all stops to ensure that the weekend of March 10 will mark a turn in the province’s social calendar.

BLOEMFONTEIN – Only 250 people pitched up to audition for the chance to become a LIVE presenter on Friday, February 18, the competition’s lowest turnout since it started at the Baseline in Johannesburg.
